GuardPad is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your scan results and history remain on your device.
Data Collection
GuardPad does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Scan results, history, and settings remain exclusively on your device.
Data Storage
Your scan history is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. No personal information is collected during scans.
If you enable iCloud Sync (PRO feature), your scan history is synchronized through your personal iCloud account. This is entirely optional.
Third-Party Services
GuardPad does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only network requests are the security scans you initiate.
We use Apple's App Store for distribution and purchase management. Apple's privacy policy governs their handling of purchase data.
Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Export scan reports at any time
- Delete individual scans or all history
- Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
- Disable iCloud Sync to keep data on a single device
Children's Privacy
GuardPad is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
