TechnoBuddy is designed with privacy as a core principle. Audio from your microphone is analyzed in real-time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Microphone Usage
TechnoBuddy uses your device's microphone to analyze audio in real-time for BPM detection and spectrum visualization. Audio data is processed entirely on-device using signal processing algorithms. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or sent to any server.
Data Collection
TechnoBuddy does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Your settings (genre preset, smoothing preference, booth mode) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS preferences.
Third-Party Services
TechnoBuddy does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app makes no network requests whatsoever.
We use Apple's App Store for distribution. Apple's privacy policy governs their handling of any purchase data.
Your Rights
Since no data is collected or stored beyond local preferences, you have complete control:
- Revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings
- Reset all preferences by reinstalling the app
- Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
Children's Privacy
TechnoBuddy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
